Jeremiah 29:11

Beloved Twin,

I extend profound sympathy for the loss of your precious baby girl.

She was real.
She was here.
She was made by love and strong marriage.
She was the baby girl of Sarah & Abraham.
You are her Mommy.
Abraham is her Daddy.
She was here.
You both fell in love with her.
She was here long enough to grow, hear, feel, bask, and relay her love to you.
Your baby girl tided blessings; pebble-ripples’ lofts of Hope Marmalade.
She is a brilliant comet across the sky only she lights.

I am sorry her life ended within you.
I grieve your pain and too short a time together.

This grief- the hardest, of hard-hard cold loss & grief.
Too often it is also lonely and silent.

Humans can be very unaware.

So too, we mean well, but often say the wrong things when the heart’s intent is comfort.

I respect your process.

I do not mean to intrude.

Know I am here.

I want to be the kind of friend you need right now.

I am beyond utterly sincere.

I will honor and follow your lead.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.

I love you, twin
xoxo

I can barely stand right now
Everything is crashing down
And I wonder where you are
I try to find the words to pray
I don’t always know what to say
But you’re the one who can hear my heart
Even though I don’t know what your plan is
I know you make beauty from these ashes
I’ve seen joy and I’ve seen pain
And on my knees I call your name
Here’s my broken hallelujah
With nothing left to hold onto
I raise these empty hands to you
Here’s my broken
Here’s my broken hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Here’s my broken hallelujah
